Anna carried out her dance degree at the University of Chichester and York University, Toronto, Canada. During her time at Chichester she was a member of 3Fall, the University’s undergraduate touring company. As a dancer in this company, Anna performed works by choreographers including Ben Wright and Lila Dance.
In 2005, prior to her degree studies Anna suffered a spinal virus, which caused short term paralysis and a long period of rehabilitation that still continues. Since graduating she has worked in and around Surrey, delivering dance work for organisations including Woking Dance Festival and Surrey Arts, as well as performing as part of The Dance Movement and with integrated company Chuck the Box.
Anna has worked with StopGAP over a number of years, first as volunteer placement and then as a freelancer. She is looking forward to taking on the challenge of being an apprentice dancer and continuing to work closely with StopGAP’s Youth Company.
