After graduating from Bird College with a First Class BA (Hons) in Dance and Performing Arts Lucy performed for a range of companies in a variety of genres before specialising in contemporary dance. Since joining StopGAP in 2003 Lucy has worked with Maxine Doyle, Bettina Strickler, Adam Benjamin, Filip Van Huffel, Hofesh Shechter, Gary Clarke, Lois Taylor, Thomas Mettler, Rob Tannion, Carol Brown, Nathalie Pernette and Thomas Noone.

Currently she is working on StopGAP’s latest outdoor offering, as well as creating a graduate performance company and 'street arts' work for University of Gloucestershire. Street Arts Direction and Community Arts Choreography are two avenues of theatre Lucy is particularly curious to journey down.

With the aid of StopGAP and her colleagues, Lucy wrote and led the first ever Integrated Choreography module for University of Gloucestershire. and teaching continues to be a strong passion of hers, inspiring her to establish the annual performance summer school Brighton Dance Diversion.
Lucy is intrigued by her role as Assistant Artistic Director for StopGAP as the company’s artistic vision often has a life of its own. The company's style and direction is constantly evolving, encompassing the ideas and observations of all who are integral to StopGAP, keeping it at the forefront of integrated performance.
