Corpus
As the party draws to a close, tender narratives are revealed within the complicated relationships. The playful energy of the fast and raw movement drives towards a haunting conclusion.
Corpus highlights the differences and similarities of people set in a surreal 'after-party' world. It brings us closer to the individual through intimate physical relationships, raw movements and quirky humour.
Very exciting and fast moving 'pure movement' piece with Van Huffel's trademark 'quirkiness', as the four dancers ove about the stage in 'integrated unison' with striking duets. Breathtaking and accessible.
- Dancers: Lucy, Laura, Chris and Dan
- Music composed by: Jules Maxwell
(Predominantly piano, inspired by the Bach tracks Filip used in rehearsals) - Costumes by: Suzie Holmes assisted by Debbie Thomas
- Duration: 15 minutes
